When: Puesto La Paloma Member (Cerro Barcino Formation), Late/Upper Aptian (122.5 - 113.0 Ma)

• Ages are found Krause et al. 2020 and Carballido et al. 2017. The contact zones between Puesto La Paloma and Cerros Castaño is approximately Aptian-Early Albian at ~118.5-110.8 Ma.

• The La Paloma Member is thought to have been deposited in an arid environment dominated by pyroclastic deposits with intercalated dune sediments
