• Situated about 100 m above the Toutunhe-Qigu boundary (sensu Maisch et al. 2003), which corresponds to 585 m above the boundary according to Pfretzschner et al. (2005).

•Fang et al. 2015: Samples from Qigu were dated to ~151–161Ma using detrital zircon analysis
