• Note: This collection had a Friasian age but this must be the Friasian sensu lato, that includes the Friasian sensu stricto, Mayoan and Laventan. La Victoria formation is now considered of Laventan age (Flynn et al., 1997).

Environment/lithology: fluvial; pebbly, volcaniclastic, gray sandstone and ferruginous, shelly/skeletal, gray, green, red mudstone

• "gray, coarse- to fine-grained pebbly lithic arenites with important amounts of volcanic fragments and plagiocalse alternating vertically and laterally with reddish-brown and greenish-gray mudstone. The mudstones are very rich in fossil vertebrates."
