• Characterised by a distinctive chert nodule unit occurring within relatively unconsolidated orange-brown sands and capped by red-orange limestone.

• The materials for this study were mostly collected from the loosely consolidated sandy limestones, processed in a weak acetic acid solution and screen-washed through graded screens. Sediment residues were then picked under a binocular microscope. Larger specimens from large limestone blocks were prepared mechanically. Repository: Museum of Northern Arizona (MNA).
