Goshoura Island (Loc.3212) (Cretaceous of Japan)

Where: Japan (32.3° N, 130.3° E: paleocoordinates 44.6° N, 123.8° E)

• coordinate estimated from map

• outcrop-level geographic resolution

When: Gannohana Member (Enokuchi Formation), Early/Lower Cenomanian (99.6 - 93.5 Ma)

• bed-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: shoreface; lithified sandstone

• Lithology.—The Gannohana Member covers the
