Also known as Euclastes acutirostris type locality
Where: Morocco (32.7° N, 6.8° W: paleocoordinates 25.6° N, 8.1° W)
• coordinate estimated from map
• small collection-level geographic resolution
When: Couche II Formation, Danian to Danian (66.0 - 56.0 Ma)
• The age could be either Thanetian or Danian: If Thanetian, it would be younger than the other specimens of Euclastes up to now reported from Morocco. The derived condition of the snout, in relation to the Danian Euclastes skulls from Morocco, argues in favor of this hypothesis.
• bed-level stratigraphic resolution
Environment/lithology: marginal marine; fine-grained, phosphatic, white sandstone
Size class: macrofossils
