• "Carpenter (1996) considered the horizon of occurence to be the Fencepost Limestone bed, Pfeiffer SHale Member of the Greenhorn Limestone. In this instance, in contrast of the usual practice of the day, Mudge recorded the quarter section from which he collected the specimen. The liocation was visited in 2003, and the only exposures hereare of the middle Fairport Chalk Member, Carlile Shale" (Schumacher & Everhart 2005, p. 47).
