• "A fragment of Inoceramus cuvieri valve coated by small ostreids and bryozoans is curated with the specimen. Such invertebrate material is highly characteristic of the middle Fairport Chalk interval (Hattin 1962) and verifies our findings in the field" (Schumacher & Everhart 2005, p. 43).
