When: Laguna Seca Formation, Late/Upper Maastrichtian (70.6 - 66.0 Ma)

• Basal conglomerate at the K-T boundary.

Environment/lithology: marine; lithified, pebbly, gray, yellow, sandy conglomerate

• Dull yellowish-grey-white sandy pebble conglomerate that the K-T contact.

• Burial in comglomerate indicates transport of fossils. Fossils should be older than this bed.
