• Formation as a whole is approximately 100-150m thick which apparently lies unconformably on Precambrian crystalline basement. The specimens from Loc. 51546 are 20m from the base of the formation. The environment is described as being subtidal, well agitated, and nearshore

• group of beds-level stratigraphic resolution

Environment/lithology: shoreface; lithified, dolomitic, ooidal sandstone

• brown weathering dolomitic sandstone, composed predominantly of moderately well sorted, well rounded, medium size quartz grains cemented by carbonate. A few ooids are present, and almost all fossil fragments have oolite coatings.
