When: Midland Formation (Meriden Group), Early/Lower Sinemurian (196.5 - 189.6 Ma)

• 4 footprint-bearing layers. Orig. assigned to Triassic and later to Turkey Run Fm.

Environment/lithology: fine channel fill; red siltstone

• "a bed of red siltstone and shale with wavy bedding, ripple marks, and slump features, which appears to be of fluvial origin"
