Type specimen: KUVP 7801, a skull (right ramus with p2-m1 and damaged m2 and left ramus with p2). Its type locality is Big Pocket, which is in a Torrejonian terrestrial siltstone in the Nacimiento Formation of New Mexico.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore
Distribution: found only at Big Pocket
