  • Aestuarichthys fulcratus: South African Museum, Cape Town, a partial skeleton (rather poorly preserved fish wanting tail and pectoral fins). Its type locality is Soetendalsvlei, which is in a Tournaisian lacustrine - large mudstone/marl in the Waaiport Formation of South Africa.
  • Soetendalichthys cromptoni: SAM, a partial skeleton (incomplete fish wanting tail and front of head). Its type locality is Soetendalsvlei, which is in a Tournaisian lacustrine - large mudstone/marl in the Waaiport Formation of South Africa.
