Sister taxon: Gerandogekko arambourgi
Type specimen: UBCL (LGr 5841), a partial skull (frontal). Its type locality is La-Grive-Saint-Alban, which is in a MN 5/MN 7 + 8 fissure fill horizon in France.
Ecology: ground dwelling insectivore-carnivore
Distribution: found only at La-Grive-Saint-Alban
