Type specimen: GMH.XXII-719-1965, a mandible (Left dentary with canine, P1–M3). Its type locality is Geiseltal, Mittelkohle, Zone III (Middlecoal, zone III), which is in a Lutetian lacustrine lignite in Germany.
Ecology: scansorial insectivore

• Eocene of Germany (2 collections)
