• Gingerich and Deutsch (1989) state that all specimens of Arfia shoshoniensis are from 1645 to 1780 m in the Elk Creek section, and Rose and Bown's Plesiadapis dubius record is a significant upwards range extension, so I have used the lower value as a minimum
